Consacrata nel 1556, nel corso dei tempo ha subito diversi interventi, per assumere l’attuale struttura nel 1768. Conserva, nell’altare maggiore, il dipinto di Muzio Fiori “la Cena degli Apostoli” (1602), nonché una statua in legno sorbo di San Bernardino attribuita al Vecchietta, forse dei XVI Secolo.Qui è sepolto il famoso cantante umbertidese del XVIII secolo Domenico Bruni.

The church of San Bernardino
The church was built on an ancient oratory of the confraternity of the Disciplinati, where, according to the tradition, San Bernardino himself founded the Congregation of Buon Gesù (Good Jesus) in 1426. Consecrated in 1556, over the centuries it underwent several interventions until it acquired the present structure in 1768. It is till home to the 1602 painting by Muzio Fiori “The apostles’ supper” on the main altar and to a rowan wooden statue of St. Bernardino ascribed to Vecchietta and presumably carved in the 16th century. The church hosts the relics of the famous 18th century singer from Umbertide Domenico Bruni.
